I was on vacation a month ago and I don’t have HBO but always kept hearing about this show called the Sopranos, well being the slow ass that I am, I watched this show with a friend of mine and WOW was I hooked my husband and I came home and purchased the first series, since we had never seen it we needed to start from scratch, well all I can say is my husband and I are hooked. Great show can’t wait until we watch series 2, oh and also I’m getting ready to call and have HBO hooked up.

On the show they often mention a couple of food items, but I’ve been to several Italian deli’s but no one knows what they are talking about.

The first is a meat I think: Gobbagould (my friend thinks it’s the NJ slang for Cappricola)

The other is a pastry I think: Shreeadel

Anyone know what these are????

DVD/TV

Fourth season of The

Sopranos is out on DVD.

Reconsidering a scene in The Sopranos, series creator David Chase lamented that “I think Arthur Miller would have done a better job.”

Never mind that Chase is talking about one of the most corrosive scenes on television last season — a bruising argument between mobster Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) and his finally unforgiving wife, Carmela (Edie Falco). Gandolfini and Falco both won drama acting Emmys for the show, and that scene is proof of why they deserve it. Read the rest of this entry »

I would like to get in touch with someone at HBO that handles the music for The Sopranos.

I have written and recorded a song called “Uncle Tony” which I feel would be perfect for the show either as a new theme song or as part of one of the episodes.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get it to somone on the show?

Any info you can provide would be much appreciated.
